Good Afternoon. Here is a great thought for the day: Pint-Sized and Principled During a little league game, umpire Bob Clark called a runner out for getting tagged at first base. But then Cody Bennett, age seven, ran over to Clark and told him that he hadn't actually tagged the runner. Clark called the runner safe. And for being honest, Cody's coach awarded him with the game ball. A few weeks later Clark umpired another game that involved Cody's team. During a similar play, Clark called a runner safe whom he thought Cody had failed to tag. Cody looked at Clark and without complaint threw the ball to the pitcher. But Clark could sense that something wasn't quite right and asked Cody if he'd tagged the runner. When he told him that he had, Clark reversed his call. The coach from the opposing team began to argue with Clark. But he explained to him what had happened weeks earlier and told him that he trusted the youngster because he was an honest kid. When in doubt remember that honest actions and a reputation for integrity will always work in your favor. Always! End of story.
"Each morning is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When the sun rises tomorrow this day will be gone forever, in its place will be something you have left — may it be something good. Follow your heart, it knows what to do."
