Good Morning. Here is a great thought for the day: DON'T HESITATE TO ACT George Gershwin got most of the ideas for his music by just sitting at the piano and playing. He didn't wait for inspiration. He would hit various chords, improvise a bit, and pretty soon the music would come to him. Throughout his brief career, he demonstrated that the way to learn how to do anything was by doing it. Orators learn to speak by speaking. Writers learn to write by writing. You get the point. Unfortunately, it's a different story throughout much of the business world. There, we tend to overanalyze problems. We wait for one more report from marketing research, or more We should heed the words of Samuel Johnson: "Nothing will ever be attempted if all possible objections must first be overcome." Sometimes more is lost by waiting than ever could have been lost by making a go or no-go decision. But usually that doesn't become evident for weeks or months: then we find out that a competitor got the jump on us or something worse has happened. Benjamin Disraeli was right when he observed, "Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action." A mediocre plan implemented today is always better than a great plan implemented
"Each morning is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When the sun rises tomorrow this day will be gone forever, in its place will be something you have left — may it be something good. Follow your heart, it knows what to do."
