Good Afternoon. Here is a great thought for the day: Years ago, when ice cream sundaes were a lot cheaper than they are now, a little boy entered a diner and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of the boy and asked him what he wanted. "How much is an ice cream sundae?" the boy asked. "Fifty cents," replied the waitress. The boy pulled a bunch of coins out of his pocket and counted them. "Well... how much is a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream?" By now, other people were waiting for the waitress, and she was losing patience fast. "Thirty-five cents," she snapped at the boy. Once again, the little boy counted up his coins, and then said to the waitress: "Okay, I'll have the dish of plain vanilla ice cream." The waitress brought the boy his ice cream, slammed it down on the table, and walked off without saying another word. The boy finished the ice cream, took his money up to the counter, paid the cashier, and then left the store. When the waitress went to clean the boy's table, she saw that the boy had neatly placed two nickels and five pennies next to his dish. It was her tip. The lesson — Don't be so quick to judge the intentions of another. They may just be doing a lot of things for a lot of reasons that you don't know about.
"Each morning is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When the sun rises tomorrow this day will be gone forever, in its place will be something you have left — may it be something good. Follow your heart, it knows what to do."
