Good Afternoon. Here is a great thought for the day: Solomon once asked his jewelers for a ring carrying an inscription that would enable him to change his mood — for example, from sorrow to joy or from over-enthusiasm to pensiveness. Not only would such a ring enable him to escape unhappiness, it would remind him to be thankful rather than emotional. As hard as his request was, the jewelers' response equaled it. After much work, they offered him a ring bearing these words: "This, too, shall pass." Reminding the king that every triumph or failure would pass and that a wise ruler keeps his mind focused on relationships, not things. Sometimes we're lucky, sometimes we're not. Successes and failures both pass. Don't give either one of them that much credit. Remember, you're never as bad as other people say you are when you lose and you're never as good as you think you are when you win.
"Each morning is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When the sun rises tomorrow this day will be gone forever, in its place will be something you have left — may it be something good. Follow your heart, it knows what to do."
