Good Morning. Here is a great thought for the day: A flock of wild geese had settled to rest on a pond. One of the flock had been captured by a gardener, who had clipped its wings before releasing it. When the geese started to resume their flight, this one tried frantically, but vainly, to lift itself into the air. The others, observing his struggles, flew about in obvious efforts to encourage him; but it was no use. Thereupon, the entire flock settled back on the pond and waited. Even though the urge to go on was strong within them, they stayed to support their colleague. For several days they waited until the damaged feathers had grown sufficiently to permit the geese to fly. Watching them the gardener had a change of heart. He clipped no more and gladly watched when they finally all rose together and headed north.
"Each morning is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When the sun rises tomorrow this day will be gone forever, in its place will be something you have left — may it be something good. Follow your heart, it knows what to do."
