Good Afternoon. Here is a great thought for the day:

THE TEST OF INTEGRITY

"HELLO, I work with Yellow Trucking," said the stranger as he sauntered into Ralph's Auto and Truck Repair. "That's my rig parked outside. We're looking for a place that can service our trucks when our drivers pass through this area."

Ralph looked out at the rig and said, "We work on trucks all the time, so that won't be a problem."

"Good. Now from time to time, I may ask you to add a few parts and services to the bill," the man winked. "After you get paid, you'll keep a little cash for yourself and give me the rest when I come through."

"Not going to happen," said Ralph sternly.

"Now, I drive through here several times a month," the driver continued. "This could be a lucrative deal for the both of us."

"Not interested."

"Only a fool would pass up a deal like this..."

Now the stranger had gone too far and Ralph yelled, "That's not the way I do business! I think you'd better leave my shop."

"That's not the way I do business, either," said the stranger, smiling. After a brief chuckle, he confessed, "I own Yellow Trucking, the second largest in North America. I'm looking for a mechanic in the area that I can trust. I didn't mean to upset you, but I got burned by a driver a few years back. Ever since then I've been 'testing the waters,' so to speak."

"Well, not all mechanics are out to make a quick buck," said Ralph. "And I can assure you that everyone who works for me is above playing shenanigans like that. But, hey, I understand that you've got to look out for your interests."

"You sound like just the kind of person I want to do business with," said the man.

Ralph extended his hand to his new customer. "It will be a pleasure working with you."
