Good Afternoon. Here is a great thought for the day: Dr. Abraham Maslow, one of the founders of modern psychology, said this: "Recognition is a need we all crave, and there are no exceptions." Use your imagination for a few seconds. Pretend that you are in a football game. You're in the end zone waiting for the opening kickoff. You see the ball floating through the air and you step up to catch it on the 2 yard line. You head for the middle of the field; you dodge a couple of tacklers; you cut right and head down the sidelines for 98 yards. You reach the end zone, hands in the air. You turn around and... nothing. Not a sound. Your teammates are just strolling off the field. You think... what happened? Did I run the wrong way? But there are no boos. You think... something feels terribly wrong! But you know what?... that's how it feels in many homes and workplaces every day. Somebody does something great and they hear absolutely nothing. If you care about them, make some noise.
"Each morning is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When the sun rises tomorrow this day will be gone forever, in its place will be something you have left — may it be something good. Follow your heart, it knows what to do."
